Stephen Henry Sasser, of Savannah GA, passed away peacefully at his home on March 27, 2026 at the age of 84. He is preceded in death by his mother Jewel M. Kirkland Sasser, father Sheppard Sasser, and sister Nan Sasser Frey. He is survived by his daughter Jill ( Chris ) and grandchildren Christopher ( Catie ), Natalie, and Lindsey.

Steve was raised in Savannah, GA, and a graduate of Savannah High School. He loved his family most of all! He was extremely proud of his daughter, her husband, and his grandchildren, who fondly call him Poppy Steve. He was a devout Christian, and a believer in Jesus Christ. We will see him again one day.
